The Fall of Adam and Eve The Fall of Adam and Eve Genesis 3:16–19 Even though the Fall might look dismal, it is not. It is opportunity for growth and advancement. “Leaving the Garden of Eden was the necessary first step toward returning to God and eventually becoming like Him.” Moses 5:11 And Eve, his wife, heard all these things and was glad, saying: Were it not for our transgression we never should have had seed, and never should have known good and evil, and the joy of our redemption, and the eternal life which God giveth unto all the obedient. Jeremiah 1:5: Jeremiah told us that God new us before He formed us in the belly. Moses 1:39: The truths found in the inspired book of Moses also teaches us about God’s work and that it’s His glory to give us the opportunity to choose exaltation. Who is God? Who are we?
