The Lord Called His People Zion The Lord Called His People Zion People throughout history have tried to duplicate a situation that Enoch and his people worked for, to have a society without poverty or violence. What made it doable in Enoch’s day is that the people were knit together in love with a common love for the Lord and a desire to obey His commandments and serve Him and each other. Again today, members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are seeking to build Zion, one heart at a time, one family, one, ward, and one stake, all across the world. The very nature of our covenants show that we want to be the Lord’s people and do His will in every facet of our lives. How do we become one with the Lord and one with each other?
